Commercial Glass Replacement

Commercial Glass Replacement - Hollywood Skylights, Los Angeles

Commercial buildings with glass skylights, atriums, and architectural glazing eventually face the same glass failures a home does, just bigger and higher up. When a glass unit on a commercial skylight cracks, breaks, or loses its seal, you often do not need a whole new skylight, you need the glass replaced. That is squarely our work.

When commercial glass replacement is the answer

  • A broken or cracked pane on a storefront skylight, atrium, or architectural glass roof.
  • A failed insulated glass seal, fogged units that have lost their seal and their performance. See commercial glass reseal.
  • A performance upgrade, swapping older glass for low-E or laminated units to cut heat, glare, and UV.
  • Safety glass replacement where overhead glazing needs to meet the tempered or laminated standard.

Why replace glass, not the whole structure

Commercial glazing frames are built to last. When the structure is sound, replacing the glass keeps the architecture and saves the cost and disruption of a full rebuild. We measure the openings, source the right insulated or laminated glass, and replace the failed units, planning the access and timing around your building’s operations.

A typical job: An office atrium with several fogged, seal-failed glass panels among many sound ones. We replaced just the failed units with matching low-E glass, kept the frame, and restored the atrium without a major project.

How pricing works

This is priced per project based on panel count, glass spec, and access. Large or hard-to-reach commercial glazing takes more planning than a residential job, so we survey first and quote from there.

How it goes

We survey the glazing, confirm the frames are sound, and quote the glass replacement. Large or custom glass is ordered to spec, and we schedule the work around access and operations.
